David Bedford was born in the West Country and now lives in East Anglia with his wife and two children. He has had several books published by Little Tiger Press, including It's My Turn!, Big Bear Little Bear and What Are You Doing In My Bed? Jane Chapman studied illustration at Brighton University and now lives in Dorset with her husband and son. She has illustrated many books for Little Tiger Press.

Little Bear was lonely. He lived in a box, on a shelf in a toy shop, without any playmates. But one day, when the shop was closed, some wind blew him onto the fl oor, right out of the box. Before long he noticed a hole in the fl oor so he decided to take a look. And what a discovery he made – a world of exciting adventures and new friends – before his own happy ending.
