This Volume would have been better titled "Dickens' Christmas Novellas" as it contains his three much longer Christmas stories - ones which are often not included in the Dickens Christmas Short Stories Collections. This book contains: 'A Christmas Carol', 'The Chimes ( a Goblin Story...') and 'The Cricket on the Hearth - A Fairy Tale of Home'. Two undated printings by world Syndicate Publishers(1931 & 1935 reprint) One has very plain blue cover, the other is nicer with embossed dark blue pebbled cover, a golden cottage in the middle and gold lettering and fleur de le pattern on spine. 231 pages with 4 illustrative etchings
