Peppy, the family's pet, helps with the plan and switches the contents of each bag. The next day, the bags head out with their family members to enjoy the antics. But as the bags see what unfolds during the day, and compare notes with each other later that evening, they find their plan caused a lot of trouble, indeed. With help from Peppy, Stripey and the bags work together to fix the problems they caused. Through their adventure together, they realize they come in many different shapes and sizes, each with its own unique value and important purpose, just like the members of their human family. They joyfully come to appreciate that they are a family, too!
