The Abnomable Snowman
Christopher Gillis
(Independently published, Oct. 3, 2019)
In 1985, at the age of six, Christopher Gillis began writing "The Abnomable Snowman" - as he put it at such a young age. Upon finding the tattered remains of the book within an old trunk, a thirty-one year old Christopher picked up writing where he had left off so long ago, same misspelled title and all. The book remains in its original handwritten format for fifty pages, a children's story written by a child, but completed by an adult, transitioning into type and the type of story it was always meant to be. It's a story of Santa and his friends on a journey to stop the abominable snowman from ruining Christmas... again, but with a few twists on Christmas that are sure to excite any child or delight any adult. A fantastic work of nifty fiction, this is a children's novel that can be read to kids every Christmas, building their excitement, imaginations, and confidence that if one kid can write a book at 6 years old, so can they.
