Luc Mitterrand is a French boy of fourteen. His mother is deceased, and his father mysteriously disappeared a few years ago. One day, he accidentally kills a burglar. So, he decides to flee and search for his father. He comes into possession of a box, which was known as the Golden Tear. He sensed that it has something to do with his father. But what was the connection? During his journey, he learns more and more about him and about the legend of the Golden Tear. This is an adventure story about a quest full of mysteries. Yara Vrolijks (1994) wrote several short stories and poems while she was in elementary school. In high school, her written work was all about fun and adventure. Her first book was inspired by a Dutch school assignment. She also trained at an Amsterdam theater school. Her curiosity and broad interests are reflected in this book.
