    Board book (B.E.S. Publishing, Feb. 1, 2002)
This cheerful, brightly illustrated board book has a shape that follows the outline of the delightful animal picture on the front cover. A baby animal is the hero of each book in the Animal Shapes series, and the animal's simple little story will bring laughs to very young boys and girls. These sturdy little books are perfect for reading aloud as bedtime stories, and their pictures display large images that will appeal to toddlers. In this Animal Shapes book, Patch the puppy has a bright rubber ball, but he can't find a playmate. At last, he finds Billy—a little boy who also wants to play.
