The Burning Prophecy Saga is the epic tale of seventeen-year-old Dannis, a mistrusted and hated outsider living on the world of Talenia, which is dominated by close-knit city-statesâa world of declining science and technology where people no longer believe in magic. Dannis didnât believe either, but he has no choice but to believe once the dormant magic residing within him awakens. With his magicâs awakening comes the knowledge that he is the Lord of Fire spoken of in the Burning Prophecy, which places upon him the daunting burden of defeating an ancient evil known as the Eternal King of Unlifeâa demon lich that fears death so much that he seeks to destroy all life in order to eliminate all threats to his continued existence. It is the story of Dannisâs search for love, happiness, and his place in the world as well as his struggle to come to terms with the vast responsibility set upon him. It is the story of his fight to survive and master a wild and chaotic magic, so he can defeat an overwhelming and fearsome evil.It is the epic tale of Saras, a beautiful, headstrong, and prodigious master of Order elemental magic who hails from the world of Atheliusâa world where magic is known, revered, and dominant, leaving technology stunted in its wake. It is the story of her search for the prophesied Lord of Fire, who she hopes, with her help, will be able to defeat the Eternal King and save her people and world from destruction. It is the epic tale of Enerius, the Eternal Kingâs most trusted Deathmasterâa powerful Spellcaster warped against nature and enslaved by foul magic, which forces him to serve the will of a monster. It is the story of his fight to avoid becoming a monster himself, to find freedom, and to destroy the master he loathes. In Eternal King, Dannis, Saras, and their friends have destroyed several of the Eternal Kingâs most powerful demons and Deathmasters, and now they seek to take the fight to him and destroy him once and for all, but they still lack the key to successâknowledge of the object that anchors the Eternal Kingâs essence to the living realm. They also lack an army with which to invade the Eternal Kingâs lands, for they canât strip Athelae of defenders and leave it vulnerable to attack in their absence. To have any chance of success they must forge an alliance of nations, but the Eternal King has yet to attack the northern lands, and doubts and suspicion abound, making such an alliance seem like a distant dreamâa dream that will become a reality far too late to save any of them.Meanwhile, trouble brews in Athelae as the high council tries to control or undermine Dannis at every turn, while traitors seek to take his life. To make matters even worse, Saras demands that Dannis make her a Chaos fire Spellcaster, for his magic is still a danger to her above all others. He wants nothing more than to share it with her, so they can be together, but he fears that he will kill her if he attempts it, so he faces the impossible choice of driving Saras away by refusing to try or accepting the risk of killing her in the attempt.Enerius hunts the aberrant Deathmaster, Xicara, both on the Eternal Kingâs orders and for personal vengeance over the harm she caused to his family. He continues his quest to break free of the Eternal Kingâs control and finds some success, which enables him to provide more aid to Dannis. However, compounding the troubles at home and abroad, the Eternal King has devised a way to get the mortal nations to fight amongst themselves in the hope that they will destroy each other for him, but failing that he will unleash the legions of Seliasâan entire world harvested for undead minionsâto overwhelm them and finish the job.
