  • Earthquake

    Andrea Irving

Paperback (Colindrea Press, May 8, 2018)
Sara Lake is home for summer break. She hoped that her two weeks of freedom at home in Happy Valley would be full of so much fun she’d forget all her worries about Jake and the ad-pro. Not so much. She’d love to be doing normal things, like getting her driver’s license and hanging out with friends. And Sara has managed to do that… most of the time. But instead of working on her tan and figuring out if Jay is who she wants… or Eli… or Luke… or Logan…, she’s been trying to figure out a way to bring down the evil madman ad-pro director, Jake Sorenson. To make matters worse, she’s forced to bring her best friend back into Jake’s clutches, all while trying to figure out his master plan. The group, including Sara’s brother and some of his classmates, thinks that if they can get some adults on their side, the evilness of their director will be easier to expose. With ongoing confusion about her love life and continued frustrations with her schoolwork, she’s overwhelmed and ready to break. But before they can really get their plan off the ground, they have a ridiculous task assigned to them by the dean that could throw a huge wrench in it, not to mention… an earthquake. This is a mature young adult novel recommended for ages 15+ for language, sexuality, and violence. The content in this book is similar to a PG-13 movie. It is the second book in a series and ends on a cliffhanger.
