Out and About: A First Words Book

Board book
(B.E.S. Publishing, Aug. 1, 2009)
This book's finger puppet is a snail. He introduces kids to words with labeled illustrations that show a flower, a tree, a bird, a bee, and many, many more. Out and About is a title in Barron's brand-new series of Finger Puppets Books. Young children learn to recognize and name different easy words, as they look at brightly colored pictures of familiar objects in this attractive board book. The book's back cover extends three inches higher than the rest of the board pages. It accommodates an attached finger puppet that Mom or Dad can remove and use to point to the well-known objects on each page as they read to their child. The puppet adds that extra element of fun that makes early learning a pleasure for both parent and child.
