The Adventures of Paddy the Beaver was originally published in 1917 by Little, Brown. Paddy the Beaver causes quite a bit of curiosity among the little folk of the Green Forest when he decides to build a dam. Everyone is puzzled as he cuts trees and sticks and drags them to the Laughing Brook. What he is building looks nothing like the smooth, grassy dam Farmer Brown built. Will it even work?
