Binding lightly shaken with some cracking to hinge, but still holding firm, few light finger marks, neat prize inscription to verso of ffep dating 1886; no further ownership marks of any kind. In lightly scuffed and marked chestnut coloured cloth, with an illuminated illustration of a man upon a horse to upper, and black and gold gilt decoration to spine; lightly rubbed to top and tail.
