Other editions of book The Canterbury Tales

The Canterbury Tales is one of the masterpieces of world literature. Because it was written in Middle English, it has been available to most modern readers only in transition or in editions that have been incompletely annotated or are awkward to use. For the Anchor edition Professor Daniel Cook has devised a new method of presenting the Tales in their original language, with full annotations on pages facing the text. The result is an edition which may be read by the non-specialist with understanding, pleasure and ease.
