    J. R. Vikse

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Oct. 13, 2014)
The medallions are lost; the Valang have risen again; the Breakers are coming. If they can't be stopped, Tranthaea will fall... French student Marc Thomas, Louisianan slave-owner Chloe Arcenaux, and American teenager Hunter Wells couldn't be more different, but they all have one thing in common: none of them asked to be ripped from their lives and flung into the middle of a war in another world. Yet as they scramble to survive, the three Humans discover that they may be the only ones able to protect Tranthaea from certain annihilation. An unsolved mystery that stretches back through millennia could hold the key to victory, but there are those who would prefer the answer remain hidden. Straddling both sides of the conflict, Hunter, Marc, and Chloe must withstand the battling factions as well as the secret desires of their own minds if they are to succeed. Will they be willing to pay the price of victory? Or will they fall into darkness? Readers all over the globe have been revelling in the incredible world that J.R. Vikse created in this fantastical series for youth and young adults.

    Robert Liparulo, Joshua Swanson

MP3 CD (Blackstone Audio, Inc., Feb. 14, 2011)
[Read by Joshua Swanson]They've been to three worlds in less than a day. Time isn't just running out ... it's running wild. David King is reeling from his travels through history -- and from the evil he's found there. The last thing he needs is his great-great-uncle Jesse's hospital-bed instructions: You can't simply do nothing. You must fix things. David and his brother Xander's search for their abducted mother has repeatedly led them on strange and terrifying journeys as they've stepped through the portals of the creepy old house and into some of history's most turbulent moments -- and confronted an unimaginably bleak vision of the future. Now Jesse's words saddle them with an obligation not only to visit the past but to rewrite it. Fulfilling their purpose will take everything they have, both mentally and physically. But they have no choice ... because everything in the past -- and the future -- is on the line.
