This book is the children's edition of 'Misty and the Whale Lady'. Misty is a young humpback whale, setting off on his first migration to the feeding grounds in the Bay of Fundy. Along the way Misty, his mother Trident and his aunt Tail-In will experience many humorous and sometimes scary encounters with various creatures of the deep. When they get to the Bay of Fundy, they meet up with a marine biologist who can communicate with the whales. The Whale Lady works on a whale-watching boat researching the movements and behaviours of the whales.
