    eBook
Have fun reading this book of words that are opposite of one another to your children. Once you have read it to them several times, pause at the end of the sentences with the opposite meaning and let them say it. Then reverse the sentence by reading what they just answered and end the new sentence with the other opposite word. Confused? It's a bit hard to explain but here is a simple example: "She went fast, and he went slow." Once they learn "slow" read the sentence in reverse: "He went slow, and she went (pause for their answer) fast." That way they get to say each word while they are learning.Give them a big "shout out" for each correct answer. If your child is particularly bright (and I'm sure he or she is) have them make up new sentences and expand the story. You may want to write those new sentences down for posterity.
