  • Footprints in the Pies:

    Linda Margaret Sapp

    Paperback (PublishAmerica, May 31, 2005)
The stories shared in Footprints in the Pies (and other exciting events!) are drawn from the family life of the author. Most are lighthearted and humorous episodes about herself, her family and friends. "Atypical Toiletries" describes a snake that visited a teacher friend in her bathroom! The "Sukey" selections are inspired by Uncle Tim's pig that lived in Sarasota. Uncle Tim and cousin Jeff actually decorated the pig-pen with Christmas lights! The "Little Miss Margaret" poems tell tales of the author's childhood. The "Flower Cow" did not wear the flowers; she ate them! The "Castle of Eis" series gives episodes from the author's own household. (Mom and Dad were only able to laugh about the "Spaghetti War" much later!) The warm humor in this book makes it appealing to readers of all ages, and it is truly a labor of love by Linda Margaret.
