When Doug is prevented by familial obligations from watching his favorite t.v. program, he becomes disgruntled and decides that his friends have it easier than he does. The next day at school, he and his friends argue over who has a better life, and decide to all switch places for a day. But, after a day spent with each others' families, they all realize that no one's life is particularly easier than anyone else's, and decide to switch back into their own lives once again.
