  • Preschool Scissor Skills Workbook

    Kids World Books and Journals

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Sept. 3, 2015)
Daily tracing, coloring, drawing and scissor skill practice can greatly improve your child’s fine-motor skills and prepare them for preschool or kindergarten. This preschool scissor skills workbook was designed for children ages 3 to 5. The book begins with cut out alphabet letters that your child can color, trace and then cut out of the book. As you flip through the pages you’ll find a variety of other cut and color activities. These activities are also designed to help your child work on his or her math skills. Many of the shapes feature characters and other designs to count, color, trace and then cut out. The designs vary from being extremely simple to more complicated, so children can gradually improve their skill level as they move through the book. Parents are encouraged to help their kids with the activities. Suggestions on how to use this book are found at the beginning of the book. Additional blank pages with a spot for a title are found at the back of the book. Kids are encouraged to glue their cut out creations on these pages or they can use the blank pages to create custom art work of their own. * 168 total pages. Large 8 x 11 size with a soft, matte paperback cover (Provides kids with a large drawing surface). * Blank doodle pages are found on the back of each cut out image so kids can use these pages for additional practice or simply tear out the page so they can use markers to color with. (Markers can bleed through these pages, so we recommend tearing out the page your child wants to color if they intend to use markers). We also created this book with several different covers to choose from. Feel free to browse through our books and find a cover that meets your child’s style preferences. Have a great day!
