  • The Caring Creator

God is powerful. He made the whole world just be speaking! God is loving. He cares for the people, the plants and animals which he made. God has a plan - to care for, and renew, his creation. Then the wolf and the lamb will be friends; the lions will be as tame as the horse and cows. We are part of his plan; we should trust him and tell others about him.

  • Bible Stories for Bedtime

    Carine MacKenzie

    Hardcover (CF4Kids, Jan. 1, 1970)
This book of stories is suitable to read to children under seven, although older children may enjoy reading them independently. There are seventeen Old Testament stories altogether, each on a double page spread, and all beautifully illustrated by Fred Apps. There is a child-friendly and appropriate prayer to conclude each story. The last three pages talk about the stories and how they are relevant to children's lives today. I was very impressed with the presentation and style of this book and would make it a 'must have' in the huge variety of storybooks available.
