  • I've Never Seen A Boar: Children's books To Help Kids Sleep with a Smile

    Adler Sigal

Hardcover (Sigal Adler, June 22, 2019)
If you’re like most people today, you know kids who don’t like to read, or feel discouraged by how challenging it can be. Maybe even your own kids. And who can blame them? Today’s world is full of stimulation, bright colors, TVs, computers, phones—and they all take up so much time in our lives that and as a result, our kids are reading less. But reading and interacting with the environment have been proven to have a powerful impact on children’s educational attainments and even on acquiring basic life skills. So it’s more important than ever today to help our kids love reading by themselves, even from the earliest stages. How can we teach kids to read? How can we help kids read better? And how can we instill a love of reading in today’s kids so they’ll want to read more and more? Sigal Adler has developed this interactive series, Everything I’ve Never Seen, out of the belief that despite the fact that the importance of rhyme isn’t emphasized in schools when learning to read and write, this is a method which has come into use more and more over time. Children with dyslexia, for instance, find it much easier to understand words when they rhyme rather than dissecting them into letters and syllables. Meeting with children in kindergarten and the early grades, Sigal has met many children who have succeeded in learning to read and write thanks to rhyme. It’s simple, enjoyable – and it works. Now you and your kids are invited to learn together… grow together… laugh together, as you explore the hilarious interactive world of Everything I’ve Never Seen!

********************************************************* ********************************************************* Serenity, HALL OF FAME TOP 10 REVIEWER 5.0 out of 5 stars~~Wonderful, just wonderful...~~ I can not imagine any child not enjoying this wonderful story... imaginative, delightful and a lesson in manners included. I feel that any book for the younger children (in this case ages 2 to 7 and P to 2) should contain colorful illustrations, rhyme and have a lesson for the little ones that is educational. This one contains all three elements and even at my advanced age, thought it was indeed wonderful. An invite to the lion king's birthday party sets this one into motion. The animals are truly excited and of course, the next item for them to ponder is 'what gift should I bring'? You see this lion king is well-known for his roaring ability when he is not happy. The animals gather at the palace and the fun begins. Nice things to eat and games to play... Finally it is gift time. I love the fact that each animal gives a little speech and incorporates something about their species...For example, the stork says 'May you dive in the pond to catch the best fish'... Unfortunately, the lion king is only interested in the gift each animal brings. The turtle is last and he teaches the lion king good manners and patience... Not an easy task but this cute and adorable turtle manages to succeed. Just love these books as they teach a lesson in addition to the rhyming aspect and the colorful illustrations. Most highly recommended.

  • Help! The Wolf Is Coming!: CHILDREN BEDTIME STORY PICTURE BOOK

    Sigal Adler

Hardcover (Sigal Adler, Dec. 15, 2017)
The High Price Of Telling Lies ******************************* Many years ago, in a land so far away Lived a shepherd family who worked hard every day Among mountains so high, and hillsides so steep Their three older sons all took care of the sheep. ********** About Aesop’s Fables Who was Aesop, and why are his fables famous all over the world? In fact, very little is known about this mysterious Ancient Greek figure. He is thought to have been a slave originally from Africa, but even that isn’t known for certain. But his stories, with their talking animals and simple moral lessons, have been popular for thousands of years. They have been translated into almost every language and were among the first books to be printed when the printing press was invented in the 1400s. The most famous Aesop’s Fable is probably the story of The Hare and the Tortoise, with its message that “slow and steady wins the race.” Children everywhere have grown up loving these delightful short tales, learning and growing through their bond with these timeless classics. I grew up enjoying many of Aesop’s fables and I’m excited to share them with you here in my own style, a little more contemporary and told in rhymes to make them fun to read and listen to. I hope you and your kids will love sharing these stories and learning from their messages just as much as I always have.
