Very slight wear to spine ends, no fraying. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Decorated endpapers (small previous owner name at top edge of front free endpaper, very small pen mark on front free endpaper. Frontispiece in color by Edna Cooke Shoemaker (with tissue guard). 328 pages. Clean bright dust jacket is not price clipped (2.00 on front inside flap), has 1" square chip at top spine edge, very shallow chipping at bottom spine edge; several short closed edge tears. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover.
