Good, plus to about Very Good, in Fair jacket. Signed and inscribed by Joan Burroughs Pierce (provenance information to purchaser). Tarzana: Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc., 1944. First Edition. 7½x4¾. Jacket illustrated by John Coleman Burroughs, blue cloth boards with red imprinting on cover and spine, top edges red, 319 pp. Fair jacket has a large spine top chip (scan), another at fold of rear flap, and its rear panel bears a large stain; some signs of inside tape repair to the jacket.
