    Carson McCullers

Paperback (Time Inc, Aug. 16, 1965)
In this book, the Carson McCullers delicately describes the emotional turbulence of 12-year-old Frankie who is afraid of the dark and jealous of the older girls. Then as F. • The Member of the Wedding

    Carson McCullers

Hardcover (New Directions, Jan. 1, 1946)
The first edition (1951) of the play. Fine copy, the only flaw being some discoloration on the end-papers where the jacket flaps lay against them. The dust jacket is not price-clipped but has a 1" closed tear in upper front right, a smaller chip near the top spine and several nicks elsewhere. NOTE: Although some sellers indicate this dates from 1946 or 1949 that is incorrect. 1946 and 1949 are copyright dates; the play was not published until this edition in 1951
