    Robert Louis Stevenson

Paperback (Jazzybee Verlag, July 7, 2017)
In this volume of Stevenson constantly deals with this elusive but mysterious element in human thought; but he holds it in close contact with the soundest kind of good sense. The little imaginary dialogue or story may carry us entirely out of the real world, but is certain in the end to leave us face to face with some fundamental truth of life or with some frequent comment on men or affairs. The book is small and the fables are but a fragment of the work as originally designed, but nothing could be more characteristic of the man.

We are delighted to publish this classic book as part of our extensive classic literature collection. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work. Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts, We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. Also in books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy. We use state-of-the-art technology to digitally reconstruct the work, preserving the original format whilst repairing imperfections present in the aged copy. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in our edition. We do, however, repair the vast majority of imperfections successfully; any imperfections that remain are intentionally left to preserve the state of such historical works. After the 32nd chapter of Treasure Island, two of the puppets strolled out to have a pipe before business should begin again, and met in an open place not far from the story.“Good–morning, Cap’n,” said the first, with a man–o’-war salute, and a beaming countenance.“Ah, Silver!” grunted the other. “You’re in a bad way, Silver.”
