Nadira, a beautiful and rambunctious girl from the Kingdom of Thasos, is faster and stronger than most her age. Though confident and courageous, Nadira secretly wrestles with finding her place in the world. The uncertainty has created an emptiness within that even she does not understand. “A hole” she calls it. Unexpectedly, Nadira meets a handsome young man named Jai from another kingdom and their hearts instantly connect. Relationships, however, can be deceiving. Nadira is unaware that Jai is actually a Prince destined to wed, Princess Theodora, daughter of the wicked, Queen Xylena. Based upon an ancient foretelling, a child born with a purple heart-shaped birthmark will become Ruler of the three kingdoms, and marry of the highest royalty. Princess Theodora was born with the fated birthmark; the same mark that also links her and Prince Jai’s destiny together. Prince Jai, however, is fighting his own internal battle, as his feelings for Nadira continues to grow. After the death of the great king, Queen Xylena, unlike her husband, rules with unbridled, selfish greed. Dread quickly spreads throughout the kingdoms for everyone fears the princess will follow her mother’s example. Eventually, Prince Jai’s secret affection for Nadira is brought to Queen Xylena’s attention. With so much at stake, the thought of true love befalling the two, presents an interesting dilemma. Determined that no one will stand in her daughter’s way, Queen Xylena expands her dark plans and enlist the assistance of the Old Witch to help rid the kingdom of this spunky young threat. Dark secrets are soon uncovered and the cast of evil spells take hold as Nadira takes a stand against the wicked queen, and the Old Witch. A fight that will, not only decide her fate, but could also upend the future of the three kingdoms.
