Illustrated by Arthur William Brown, 12mo size, 328pp. A VG or better copy, lightly rubbed at the spine tips else binding is clean, bright. The inside endpapers have a slight offset line from the dj flaps.A couple of pages have the bottom corners dogeared, leaving a light crease. Text is otherwise clean, tight & unmarked. In a Good dj that has small chips and tears along the edges. A couple of longer closed edge tears have small pieces of clear tape on the verso.Laid in loose is a bookmark from the publisher promoting Tarkingtons' works on one side and advertising 2 'new' novels by W. Dean Howells & Clarence Kelland on the other side. Despite the wear and tear a fairly attractive copy in the scarce dj.
