Pee-wee Harris goes to sleepy Goodale Manor Farm with his mother, where she hopes to get some rest. Pee-wee makes sure that doesn't happen when he learns there is a parade (and food!) in nearby Snailsdale Manor. To create a float and attend the parade, he enlists the help of another youngster, Hope Stillmore, who is soon launched on the sea of adventure with Scout Harris for a pilot.
