So often I ask myself what kind of country we are leaving for the generations to come. This book is an attempt to show that many of the concerns we have today were concerns that were voiced by our forefathers. Some of our forefathers were concerned about excessive government spending which resulted in excessive taxes. Many of our forefathers expressed concern of what would happen to our society if the Bible was taken out of the schools. Most believed in God.I would argue that our Forefathers without question were the enlightened generation. They were the dreamers. They gave us a solid foundation onto which to build upon. When you consider their concerns, they voiced centuries agoโ€”one questions have we really come so far after all.
