  • The Sea of Stars

    Beth Costanzo

Hardcover (Adventures of Scuba Jack, Oct. 21, 2019)
Is Anybody Out There? is a heartwarming story that illustrates how children can sometimes feel alone when they don't fit in. As educators, we fully understand and see this often. We want to let all children know that they are not alone and that there is help to calm their anxiety and feelings of inadequacy. We at The Adventures of Scuba Jack want children to realize that being different can be wonderful! Everyone is unique and has talents and abilities that are of value to the world. Wouldn't it be boring if we were all alike? It is our goal to make children aware of their worth. Equally important is to recognize that there is something good to be found in every day and that there are people who can offer guidance and support. A child can talk to their teacher, parents, or friends; anyone who is willing and able to help. Life's not always easy and there are times when we feel like giving up. We would all do well to remember that each new day.
