Is the myth of Atlantis just one of Plato’s parables devised to persuade a certain argument? Or did the city actually exist, its history perverted by time and teller? Was there really an advanced civilization on Earth that predates the biblical account of Adam and Eve?When a young boy discovers the last remaining Atlantic survivor in the Mexican jungle of Quintana Roo, he is provided with the stunning truth of their alien origin. Relayed to his mind by the sole survivor via a unique method of communication, the boy learns that Atlas was a man, deified by his people. The story is related by the only child of Atlas, who was left on Earth by his father, along with an exiled people, to find his way on a strange and dangerous prehistoric planet. As the exiles begin to pervert the simple ways of their peaceful forefathers, they suffer physically, socially and mentally. Damis, the son of Atlas, must assume a difficult and multi-faceted role as protector, educator and savior, which responsibilities he eschews, all while trying to grow up and fall in love. The people are subsequently divided in war, hoping for the return of Atlas. Will Atlas return to unify his people and to take them home to the worlds of their fathers?
