Luck sees the horse saved from being sent for slaughter along with his stable mates by an auctioneer who prematurely brings the bidding for him to a close owing to his love for these magnificent animals and his attempt to save at least one from an early demise. The story touches on a bond that can form between humans and animals and the therapeutic part animals can play in assisting humans with a disability.
