This is a tender story about a close-knit family of cacti that live in the Sonora Desert in Mexico. Saguaro is a happy young cactus who lives with Grandfather, Grandmother, Mother and Father. One day, a group of tourists from a nearby campsite speeds down the road with a truck full of garbage. They toss the bags in all directions hitting Grandmother. She loses an arm and as a result she can't take part in Circle Time, a special time the family spends together in the evening. The desert animals eventually find a way for Grandmother to participate with her family.
