Out in the backyard, ready to play, Little Green Bear is having quite a day. She chases her hoop, goes for a spin on her trike, whizzes down the slide, and climbs on the monkey bars, oh so high. Hello! there's a visitor, a pretty butterfly, and also some birds winging in to stop by. (Can you count how many? Of course--one, two, three.) Then gardening and digging, and much more to do. Can you think of what YOU like in your backyard, too?

It's summer and sunny and the best place to be--is the beach, as Yellow Bear (and anyone!) can see! Turn the warm sand into a castle, with a flag to blow in the breeze, then fill up the bucket and build even more. Bear bops with the beach ball, licks up a cool ice pop, takes a swim in the sea, and plays hide-and-seek in his towel--hey, there, peek-a-boo! What a great day--bet you liked it, too.

Crayons and blocks and rat-a-tat-tat on the drum--you can stay home and still have lots of fun! Little Red Bear is busy indoors, building towers and drawing and marching along. Rock, rock on the rocking horse; zoom, zoom with her train; and then she sits quietly in her own special chair. But, day is ending, and it's time for a bath. Then tucked snug as a bug in her bed, Red Bear says...good night!
