    The four series set of Sunday School Activity Books to Accompany the Dole Bible Study Notes was written and illustrated largely by Louise Dole Woofenden, daughter of Anita S. Dole, who wrote the Bible Study Notes. Assisting her in this task were Betty Hill, who contributed ideas and material for the activities, and Louise's husband Bill, Editor of the six volume 1976-1979 hardcover edition of the Dole Bible Study Notes. That set has since been reprinted in paperback by the Swedenborg Foundation. Though some of the materials and techniques described and used in these Activity Books are now out of date and may not be easily reproducible today, overall this is a rich source of crafts projects for Religious Education teachers and parents who want to engage children in hands-on learning of the Bible stories covered in the Dole Bible Study Notes. This new edition of the Activity Books is a facsimile reprint of the original four volume set.
