When my friend Sophia suggested I write a cookbook I nearly fell off my chair laughing, no seriously I did.So here I am writing an introduction to a collection of recipes, some are original Gaby von Strechau, others fall into what I believe writers term ‘traditional’, i.e. no one knows who first came up with them! Most of the recipes are quick to prepare and I have suggested easy to find and cheap ingredients where possible. If you want to use all fresh veg and stuff you can but this is how I usually do them.
