Did you ever wonder what makes him different from the thousands of other pitchers out there who trained and worked just as hard? How does he train? How does he prepare between starts? How does he start a batter off? Does he pitch to a batter the same way each time he steps up to the plate to hit? The best way to find all this out is to ask someone who did it, and then let him explain it to you in his own words.Tom Brewer did it, and he did it successfully for eight seasons with the Boston Red Sox. He pitched to Mickey Mantle, Al Kaline, Yogi Berra, and Willie Mays. He pitched to Ted Williams in Spring Training. In this book, you’ll read how Tom did what he did, and see home plate through his eyes from atop the pitcher’s mound.

  • The Adventures of Anna ... At the Aquarium

    D. L. Bentley

language (DLBM Enterprises, LLC, March 28, 2013)
BEST CHILDREN’S BOOKSI am still in search of this “best kids books to read” or” best kids stories” or any variation thereof as a designation for my kids books which I had so much fun and pleasure putting together. As the market for both books online and books for kids online grows, I am sure this will be harder and harder to achieve and maintain once achieved. But, being one of the best books for kids to read is a goal worth working hard for and for which I am ready and excited to continue. In this kids picture book, the series continues the educational adventures of Anna, her friend Susan and her parents going to the Aquarium. The book’s format remains the same with more beautiful, engaging and appealing pictures intermingled with the text in a very non-traditional and intriguing format that immediately catches the reader’s attention. This story is highlighted with pictures of jellyfish that look like cauliflower, broccoli, and fireworks as well as many colorful but very poisonous South American Rainforest frogs. The more colorful the frog, the more poisonous it is.One reviewer wrote: Wonderful Book That Your Child Will Love, June 4, 2013It is a real pleasure writing this review on "The Adventures of Anna ... At the Aquarium because there are so many great things to say about this book. First of all I was very impressed with the way the author wove the story around images of what Anna was seeing during her trip. What a great way to present a book for young readers! Another very strong point was the amount of information contained in the book about what Anna was viewing at the aquarium. The author include interesting facts about each and every creature in a way that could certainly spark more discussion between the parent and child reading this book together. Yet one more reason to buy this book is how very well written and well organized the book is which makes it very enjoyable to read. Finally I was impressed that the author took the book to the next level by also including links to topic relevant videos at the end of the book thereby providing an extra bonus to the reader who purchased this book. IMHO very deserving of a 5-Star rating!”So why don't you and your little one take a new kind of exciting trip to the Aquarium? I'm sure you won't be disappointed as the Anna series continues to work towards its goal of being in the Best Children’s Books category.

  • The Adventures of Anna At the Zoo

    D. L. Bentley

language (DLBM Enterprises, LLC, March 4, 2013)
Best Children’s BooksI know, as the author, I am not supposed to classify my kids picture books, The "Adventures of Anna" kids book series as the best in children’s books but I can strive for this goal and I do.The Anna series is an educational adventure series of books for toddlers that first takes Anna and her parents on a trip to the Zoo. The books are informative and interesting books for kids but that parents will enjoy as well. There are many beautiful, engaging and appealing pictures intermingled with the text in a very non-traditional and intriguing format that immediately catches the reader’s attention. The story is further highlighted with exciting, little-known facts about animals that you would not necessarily learn at a real trip to the zoo. For instance, the word giraffe means camel plus leopard (a big tall camel with spots), that camels eat fish, and that zebra’s stripes are like fingerprints (none are alike). One reviewer wrote: “I loved the story of Anna …. The way the pictures were intermingled with the text was very appealing. The pictures were extremely well done and fit the story very well. I can't believe how much I learned from a children's book …”Why don't you and your little one(s) take an eye-opening and exciting trip to the Zoo today from the comfort of your home by reading about Anna’s Adventures at the Zoo? You won't be disappointed, I’m sure, as the Anna books for children series continues to work it’s way up to owning the designation of Best Children’s Books.
