The present book, “The girl with pink glasses”, is Sonja’s fourth book, and it aims at the hearts of both adolescents and teenagers. It is her first book written in English, with a translation to Croatian available as well. This is a novel about growing up, about children who start asking questions about themselves and about their surroundings. The story tells of life inside an ordinary family, about sisterly love and its strange aspects, about adolescents facing unexpected problems and having to start taking important decisions. And, of course, about first love.

This book contains many stories about many different topics and Ideas that I think about in the course of a day. I often think about many different topics and thoughts every day. Sometimes from what I read or maybe what happens on a given day and several of my stories are created out of creativity the forever thought of "what if". Basically I apply my background of journalism to poetry so my work has a touch of journalism to it. I like to educate readers as much as I like to entertain and make people laugh as well. Overall my objective in every poem is to make the reader think and wonder about what message I am trying to get across and what exactly does each word or sentence mean. The overall concept of thinking is where all my stories began and where all my ideas constantly find a way to the internet, my notebook and in any book I wish to publish.

We wanted to raise our daughter Serena in the country, so we bought an old farm house and filled the place with farm animals. I would call my Mom each day and tell her of the funny stories about the animals and things they would do. My Mom would always say, "That story would make a great Children s Book." I decided to write my stories down on paper and never dreamed of being a published Author one day. I have my Mom to thank for that, for always believing in me, loving me always, and for encouraging me to write and to express myself through my writing. She has always believed in me and that has helped me to follow my dreams. Anything is possible with the love of your family and always believe in yourself. Thank you Mom.

Speak not of monsters or you shall become one. He waved a hand in front of his face and Angel heard a girl's voice. Yes, Master? The girl appeared out of nowhere. Did she have the power to transport or did he? Please sir, why must you act so monstrous; another girl's voice asked. Fetch me something to eat, my dear minion; Zanzabar said to the girl who had just appeared. There was a collar on her neck that read 'Skye.' she replied, almost robotically. She bowed slightly and headed for the door. Was this my fate? I gasped in horror, Skye? Oh no...that s where she disappeared to two years ago! She became a slave to this monster of a man. I opened my mouth to call to her, but my throat was suddenly constricted. I gasped for air and fell to my hands and knees.

At the age of twenty, a lethal vampire brought Nathan across and became a legend among the vampires. Nathan, the blackest, coldest demon existing, dared to challenge the priests, hunters and fate from the Underworld itself. He was feared by humans, but also the vampires; he committed the crime that s forbidden; he fed and killed the one who made him. He caused havoc and terror in every city, every century. The Holy Temple sent out various hunters to destroy him, all they need is one to stop him.

I am Tiah, this is my home, where my spirit lives and my purpose here is to protect the life here. I am very small and yet very powerful.Centuries ago we ruled here, we filled the land with emerald green forests, crystal blue oceans and animal life that existed in harmony. When man entered here, it was a horror I never thought could happen. They began remov-ing the trees, hunting us for pay and destroying the spirit.The Gods sent us here, there are five of us now; we in turn care and protect what’s left. Man has vanished somewhat but they do try.I will share our many adventures with you, so you may see how important this is to the world, but mostly to my species.
