    W.W. Rouse Ball was a Smith Prize winner and a fellow at Trinity College. He was also the founding president of the Pentacle Society at Cambridge, one of the oldest magic societies in the world. Not just 1+1=2, but fallacies, puzzles, curiosities, story problems, geometric dissections and magic squares to name just a few.
