(Rand McNally & Company, Chicago, Aug. 16, 1963)
Size: 7 1/2 x 9 1/2. Cover is blue with dark blue lettering on front and spine; and dark blue drawing on the front. Illustrated endpapers. Verso side of front endpaper has review of the book glued onto it. This 4th printing is from July 1965. Lovingly illustrated with those marvelous Wesley Dennis drawings in b/w and color. This is the sequel to the best seller Misty of Chincoteague. Pages are clean and tight; book looks as if it had very light circulation/use. While Misty is in foal, at the Pony Ranch on Chincoteague, a disastrous storm hits, flooding out the island. And horses being horses, naturally Misty foals during the storm, giving birth to Stormy. "How Misty and Stormy help make possible the restoration o fthe pony herds and save the traditional Pony Penning Day is a true and exciting story that will hold its readers spellbound". Another masterpiece by Marguerite Henry.
