This teacher's resource pack is part of a series that meets the requirements of the revised GCSE syllabuses and covers the needs of pupils of all abilities. The pack accompanies a simplified version of the pupil's book, for lower attainers, which covers international relations from World War I up to the recent history of South Africa, including depth studies that focus on the USA from 1919 to 1941, Germany from 1919 to 1949, Russia from 1905 to 1941 and Britain from 1900 to 1951. At the end of each unit in the pupil's book there is a section on exam practice, providing questions to help pupils consolidate information and prepare for revision. Many of the key issues, events and personalities of this century are covered, using source material. This teacher's pack contains activities to help lower attainers, offers mark schemes for selected exam questions, and has examiners' comments on student responses. There is also a core edition and its accompanying teacher pack, aimed at a range of abilities, with the same content but a more complex text and activities. The series also contains core and foundation editions of "Nazi Germany" and "Russia 1905-56", with teacher packs.
