  • The Christmas Star

    Christina Roach, Rebecca Spear

Hardcover (CR Publishing, Oct. 10, 2016)
This delightful Christmas story is about Mia--an eight year old girl whose life is awesome, except she has to share her toys and games with her little brother. Her little brother imitates everything she does, and Mia finds it very annoying. One special Christmas, Mia learns that the star in the sky and on Christmas trees is to remind people of the Christmas star given to Jesus, and that Jesus was the ultimate example of sharing. Mia decides to try an experiment. She thinks that by sharing with her little brother, she can receive her very own Christmas star. In the process, Mia learns the real reason for sharing--love. In the end, Mia realizes the joy she feels as she gives to others. It would seem that was the end, but little did she realize who had been watching and would copy her example of sharing in a most surprising way!
