This Story is all about Tricksters and Shape-Shifters. Set on the Banks of the Amazon in South American Rain Forest we discover how "The Armadillo" from the Spanish word for "Little Armoured One" evolved. With a little help from Stickly-Prickly- Hedgehog, Slow-and Solid-Tortoise and the Painted Jaguar Cub who was so easily tricked by them. Luckily he always had his Mummy to turn to for help. In 1980 Sheila Graber was commissioned to create a series of animated films for World TV based on Rudyard Kipling's "Just So Stories" These books are based on the hand painted art work created on plastic "cel"for that series.
