No one goes shopping like Pippi Longstocking! Her apron pocket is stuffed full of gold coins when she sets off for town one beautiful spring day to go shopping with Tommy and Annika. The sweet shop is bursting with rows and rows of scrummy sweets and bars of chocolate. Pippi buys thirty-six pounds, enough for all the children in town! There are lots of lovely things in the toy shop too, and when the children come out blowing their ocarinas they make such a noise the police come running, wondering what's going on.
