  • Dare To Dream

    Lindsay Payne

    eBook (, Jan. 6, 2018)
This story is based on the character of “Bob” Robert Henry Gallagher who was loved by so many in Australia and around the world. He was a man of courage and pride who was dependable, loyal, hard working, humorous, incorrigible, kind and humble and who always thought of others. Bopa is the name his grandchildren called him and so I thought it only fitting that this story be about Bopa the bear. Bopa lives in the forests and mountains along the sunshine coast of Queensland, Australia. He has five brothers and three sister bears.Bopa is unlike any other bear in the whole wide world. He is a kind and humble bear and would rather look after his family's needs than his own. He is respected by his bear family and friends as they know that he has indeed given so much to their Sleuth (group) of bears. There are many stories and legends about Bopa but I am going to tell you one special story about this amazing bear.

Add an adorable, mod stepsister-to-be, who's also in the wedding, and the mix gets scarier. A pesky boy, Izzy Bean, taunts Kait into signing up at Star Modeling, where she gains poise. Then she wins a Dream Wedding for her mom and Vic Margola. When Kaitlin Thomas finally overcomes her shyness, she's forced to do it in front of the whole world, but her best friend Melinda cheers her on as she finally dares to dream.
  • Dare to Dream

    Carys Jones

Paperback (REUTS Publications, March 3, 2015)
"The world was going to end. Of that, Maggie Trafford was certain." Fourteen-year-old Maggie Trafford leads a normal life. Well, as normal as being crammed in a three-bedroom house with four siblings and a single parent can be, anyway. But despite being somewhat ignored at home, Maggie excels, earning top grades, a best friend who would do anything for her, and stolen looks from a boy in Maths. It's not until the dreams start that Maggie realizes "normal" is the least of her problems. Every night, she lives the same nightmare-red lightning, shattered glass, destruction. But nightmares are just that, right? No one believes her when she says it's an omen. At least, not until the already mysterious pillars of Stonehenge start falling. No longer alone in her fear, Maggie and the world watch with bated breath as one after another, the historic stones tumble, like a clock counting down. But only Maggie knows what it means: when the last stone falls, destruction will reign. And when the world ends, there's only one option left-survive. Horrifying and raw, Dare to Dream is equal parts tragedy and hope, detailing the aftermath of apocalyptic catastrophe, the quest for survival, and the importance of belief.
