How can Eve stop a war when it’s all her fault…?Chaos RisingOdin’s single blue eye bulged while the storm over my curls burst into life, lighting striking the rough stone beneath my feet. Three stars fell from my neckline, high pitched squealing like the death of fireworks silencing everyone in the throne room. “ENOUGH.” I hated shouting and only let that one word out at the same volume Odin had used. The mist pooled around me, swirling in angry puddles at my feet while the storm descended further while I dropped my voice to a more conversational level. “I came to talk, Odin. Not to argue. Are you done being rude or should I just go home?”Oh, Eve, Seth sighed in my head.Eve’s struggle to prove herself continues while the Pantheons do their best to make her life miserable. But when a mysterious ailment seeps power from the Crosspath, Eve must put aside her worries that her actions might cause further damage in favor of assembling the missing pieces of Chaos before the hub of Creation fails.

Hello to you, reading the back of this book! Want to read a heartwarming story about a little lion? Well, I've got one for you! It began this past summer, and boy, was it a summer to remember! I worked my first job, made many new friends, learned a lot of lessons in life, but most importantly, I met my best friend Chance, the little lion in this story! Okay, he is actually not a lion, but rather, a Pomeranian, a small, fluffy dog that looks like a lion! Chance is very special! Over the summer, we both learned about love, friendship, faith & belief, and what it means to work hard for things that are important in life. Interested yet? Well, let's get started, and turn to page '1', so I can tell you all about it! Your friend, Scott Jacobs BeeJaye Green, author of Climbing Summerland & Chance, completed his first book at the age of 9, and ever since, hasn't been able to put the pen down. He enjoys watching movies, reading books, and spending time in the outdoors. He enjoys the company of friends and family, especially his mother, Debbie, whom he loves very much. He considers the craft of writing his own little sanctuary, and after losing his father to cancer at the age of 12, it gave him the security blanket he needed to overcome the struggles of losing a parent. Now, at the age of 30, he aspires to become the world's next Mark Twain, but until then, spending time with his wife Dawn and their three dogs keeps him busy enough. BeeJaye lives in Torrance, California, where he is currently working on his next two novels, Saving Eric & Maddox.

    Joseph Conrad

    language (, Feb. 3, 2020)
Apparently a two part story about a Damsel and a Knight, perhaps a damsel who depends upon the kindness of strangers. It was originally entitled "Dynamite" and first published by installments in the New York Herald. The book itself was the biggest commercial success for Conrad up until that time, 1913. It allowed Conrad for the first time to settle his financial affairs. The author's disdain for people who live on the land is apparent. A new understanding of the word "enthusiastic" is promulgated. And it is a love story. Let us see how the tale goes.First Page:Transcribed form the 1914 Methuen & Co. edition by David Price, email ccx074@coventry.ac.ukCHANCE A TALE IN TWO PARTSThose that hold that all things are governed by Fortune had not erred, had they not persisted thereSIR THOMAS BROWNETO SIR HUGH CLIFFORD, K.C.M.G. Joseph Conrad

    eBook (, Jan. 21, 2015)
A remarkable book, the story of Flora De Barral, daughter of the Great De Barral, a monumental swindler, and her love for the sea captain who married her. Marlow tells the story in his usual quiet manner which is so dramatic under the quiet, and shows Chance the master hand directing and interfering at any moment.
