It’s late and the moon is full. Andres and Juliana are settling in for a delicious night’s sleep when suddenly...bzzzzz...a mosquito flies into their room. They hide under the covers, they hide under the bed. Unable to escape the sound, they leave the house, hoping to find help in the jungle. But the animals they encounter — a monkey, a snake, and a crocodile — are all asleep. A kindly owl offers to fly them home. There they find a frog on the windowsill who knows just what to do about the mosquito.

Matt is in serious danger on the streets of Chicago after he makes a bad decision. His mom sends him away to Aunt LeeNell, but South Texas is the last place Matt wants to be for the summer. Buzz is a dragonfly. A very large and scary looking one. Buzz begins every day by flying around the Irish countryside to visit his neighbors. Unfortunately, his neighbors don’t appreciate his happy-go-lucky attitude. Buzz is lonely and wants friends so badly. Everywhere he goes people yell at him and tell him to go away. This makes Buzz very sad. He only wants one true friend. Someone who he can to play with and fly around the meadow. Someone to laugh and be his best friend. A big life changing event is about to take place and it will change his life forever. Will Buzz ever find a friend? Will people ever like Buzz?
