Instead of being more concerned about the esthetics of glasses, this book encourages children to think more of the safety of weraing glasses. Through the magical wourld of animals children can find solcae and relate to the difficulties that they have to overcome when changes have to be made in their lives for the better. "Seeing is Believing" shows how a groundhog almost made the wrong decision that could have badly affected him and others because he became more concerned about how he looked to others. This is a wonderful, easy to read book that addresses one of life's issues that some of our little ones have yet to face and in turn those that do not have to face this issue, it teaches how to react to those others that do have to wear glasses.
