Shane goes to visit his grandmother’s home. While there Shane decides to explore Grandma’s garden as he often does when visiting Grandma. As Shane goes through the garden he observes that the birds, the bees, and the butterflies are all absent from Grandma’s garden. However, Shane remains hopeful that he might find other garden visitors because he remembered that Grandma once said there were always visitors in her garden. Shane continues his walk and finds a toad snug in the garden mulch—Shane is excited about his discovery and he starts thinking about other critters that may be hiding in Grandma’s garden as he looks forward to his next visit to Grandma’s garden.
