Paperback
(Dog Ear Publishing, LLC, Nov. 8, 2013)
Mommy leaves for work and a little girl bubbles over in excitement because she has an entire day to spend with her Daddy and her trusty sidekick, a blue-eyed white kitty who invades each activity. Together, Daddy and girl tackle stacks of pancakes, steal vegetables from the garden despite the scarecrow on guard, then during the rainy afternoon, they cuddle up to color and to read stories about dragons and knights, before fixing supper in time for Mommy's arrival home. Simple activities showing a great love, described in a fun rhyme. Cheryl Kula currently lives on a mountain in WV with her husband, Ted, and her daughters, Lieschen and Lillian. After years of assuming that her children would always have 4 legs, she is a happy mother of two precocious daughters. This is her first children's book. Karl Trolenberg is a graduate of the East Carolina School of Art and has worked in the arts for the past 17 years. Karl is based in Virginia with his wife, Kathryn, and his two sons, Paul and George.
