Books in The Purple Princess Series series

At the beginning of the twentieth century, at the encouragement of the people in her town, Frances Margaret Fox, expanded upon her popular newspaper stores and started writing books for juveniles, especially females. Her popularity expanded and she, in the end, wrote 51 books. As with this book, most of them took place in the Mackinaw area of Michigan, obviously a good place with those with a fertile imagination. Little Lady Marjorie continues to explore and learn from the people, the situations she runs in to and the places that surround her. This easy read is suggested for the eight to twelve year old.
